Q: Do you have car parking?

A: There is parking for 10 cars to the rear of the lodge and free, unlimited on-street parking to either side of the lodge.

Q: What time is check in and departure?

A: Check-in is any time after 3pm, however you may arrive at the lodge earlier than this and we will be happy to store your luggage or show you to your room if it is available. Departure is at 11am, it is possible to extend this by prior arrangement please ask for details.

Q: What are your payment terms?

A: A deposit of 50% of your total booking cost is required to confirm your booking. Full payment is due on arrival at the hotel. We accept all major debit and credit cards, cash and cheques. Please note we do not accept payment by cheque on arrival.

Q: What facilities do you have for children?

A: We have a games room with a pool table, gaming machines, Sony Playstation and DVD players with a selection of games and DVD's, and board games. Family rooms have full sized single bunk beds and cot hire is available. A Children's menu, high chairs and baby bottle/food warming facilities are available in our dining room.

Q: Are you disabled accessible?

A: Not at this time although plans are underway for a lift to all floors.

Q: How far are you from the town centre?

A: We are approximately a ten minute walk from Blackpool Tower. There is a bus and tram service that runs from the promenade 25-30mts from the lodge.

Q: Do you accept dogs?

A: Yes we are happy to accept small/medium well behaved dogs. (please see dog rules below this section)

Q: Do you have nightly entertainment?

A: Entertainment is provided to all guests of The Strand Lodge at our Hotel which is situated around the corner on North Promenade. However there is occasional events and entertainment at the lodge.

Q: How do I make reservations for a large group (family reunion, club, etc.)?

A: Requesting 10 or more rooms for the same arrival date qualifies as a group booking. Group travel reservations may have different rates or hotel booking requirements. To request rooms for your group or for more information please contact us.

Q: How can I make special requests regarding my stay?

A: Special requests can be made when making your hotel booking online. Special requests are not guaranteed and will be honored depending on availability at check-in, but we will do our very best to accommodate the request. If you have specific needs or questions regarding your request, please call the hotel directly.

Q : What if I need to cancel my booking.

Please contact the hotel by telephone as soon as possible and follow up your request in writing. Terms and conditions apply.

Q: Do I need to take out cancellation insurance?

A: We always recommend that all guests have travel cancellation insurance this can be purchased through the hotel at very little cost and gives you peace of mind should you need to cancel your holiday, please enquire for details.

Q: Do we need to book for dinner prior to arrival?

A: It is advisable to ensure the time you require, but you will be asked on arrival.

Q: Is there a full vegetarian menu?

A: There is always a selection of vegetarian dishes available as part of all our menus.

Q: Do you cater for special diets?

A: Yes - do please inform us of your requirements prior to arrival, we will endeavour to meet your needs.

Q: What time are meals served?

A: Breakfast 9am - 10.30am (early breakfasts on request)
Restaurant 5.30pm - 8.30pm Only at The Strand Hotel

Q: Can non-residents book for dinner?

A: Yes, however priority is always given to hotel residents.

Q: Do you have single rooms?

A: Yes we do have single rooms.

Dog Rules

It is very important that if you are planning on bringing your dog to our hotel you are able to abide to the following rules:

    Only small to medium dogs are allowed.
    Dogs must be on a short leash at all times.
    Dogs are not allowed in the dining room and must be put into their rooms whilst buffets are being served (Christmas and New Year)
    Dogs are not allowed on the furniture.
    Left over food must not be taken from your breakfast or evening meal for dogs consumption.
    All owners will be asked to pay a deposit of £100 per dog in-case of fouling resulting in the need of professional cleaning or causing damage to hotel property.
    Dogs whining or barking incessantly whether in the public areas or whilst in the guest bedrooms will result in the guest being asked to leave. No refunds will be given.
    Only certain guest rooms are available for guests and their dogs.
    There is a specially designated area in the bar within full view of the entertainment where we ask you seat with your dogs.
    Finally we ask that all dogs are bathed prior to their holiday with us.
